Our Webster Service Area and the Homes We Floor
From Webster down to Alvin, our crews put down hardwood, vinyl, tile, laminate and carpet in your home. Before we recommend anything, we meter the concrete or plywood beneath for moisture and check it with a straightedge, so the product and install method match the floor you actually have.

Where We Work
Most of our work is in Webster, Nassau Bay, Seabrook, El Lago and Taylor Lake Village, plus League City, Kemah and Dickinson to the south. We also take jobs in Friendswood, Pasadena and Alvin. If your street is somewhere between those towns, give us a call and we will tell you plainly whether we can schedule you.
The products and methods do not change from town to town, but the floor underneath does. A 1970s ranch with a slab that has shifted needs different prep than a newer two-story with a plywood second floor. We look at what you actually have before we talk about luxury vinyl plank, tile flooring or engineered hardwood, so the quote reflects the real prep work and not a guess.

What We See Under Floors Across the Area
Slab foundations and moisture
Most homes here sit on concrete slabs poured over clay soil. Concrete wicks ground moisture upward, so we meter the slab before installing anything that glues down or floats. High readings mean a vapor retarder or a moisture-tolerant product, because trapped water is what cups wood, loosens adhesive and grows mildew under padding.
Clay soil and uneven slabs
Gulf Coast clay swells when wet and shrinks in drought, and older slabs often show hairline cracks or a dip near one wall. Rigid-core vinyl and laminate locking joints fail when the floor is out of flat, and tile cracks along slab movement. We grind high spots, fill low ones with self-leveler and use crack isolation membrane under tile where it is needed.
Humidity and acclimation
Indoor humidity swings hard between air-conditioned summers and damp winter days. Solid hardwood moves with it, which is why we usually steer slab homes toward engineered hardwood and leave proper expansion gaps at walls and doorways. Wood and laminate sit in your home before install so they reach the room's conditions first.
Storm and water history
Many homes near the bay have taken on water at some point. When we pull old flooring we check for stained tack strip, soft subfloor on upper levels and old adhesive residue, and we show you what we find before replacing it so nothing gets covered over.
Permits and HOA rules
Replacing flooring generally does not need a building permit, but many neighborhood associations and condo boards set rules. Condos often require a sound-rated underlayment under hard surfaces. Check your HOA documents, and we will match the underlayment to what they ask for.
Get a Read on Your Slab Before You Pick a Floor
Give us the name of your town, which rooms you want done and the flooring that is there now. We will explain which products work over your slab or subfloor, then schedule a visit to measure.
